Off to South: Dalaguete Beach Park, Casay Dalaguete Cebu

Monday, May 04, 2015

Hello juanderers! I'll be sharing to you today my first trip of summer! This must be the first post in my juandering that issues the South part of Cebu. Oh yes! And I thought I'm going to miss this year's summer where in fact I almost forget I have a blog. Kidding. I actually got busy with college, thesis, graduation, and employment for this past months. Sharing this to you in case you juander what I've been up to for the past month that my blog seems to be outdated.

Anyways, thanks to my friends who ask me to come with them in an unplanned outing to South Cebu, specifically Dalaguete, the hometown of some of my college classmates.

How to get there:

You can ride a bus which route is from Cebu-Alcoy or Cebu-Bato, any bus that can drop you off to Casay. A small tip, a friend told me that this is place is known to drivers as Argao Beach, not Casay nor Dalaguete. The bus fare cost us 90-100 PHP. Right then, we took a motorcycle for 10-15 pesos each.

This beach park never failed me, noting that this is my first trip to Dalaguete. Why?
  • First, let me say that I love to travel the South. Somewhere you can find mountains and hills, mass of trees, and beaches. Truly far from the hustle bustle of the city.
  • The beach park; the cottages is not too expensive and you can choose from small-medium-big in its different styles.
  • If you can't afford for a cottage you can rent a table instead for 160 php.
  • Cheap entrance fee (20 php), perfect for family outing.
  • Event hall. But I'm not certain how much it cost per hour.
  • Available food vendors in the premises.
  • The water is crystal clear and fine white sand.
